1. Prepare the source materials
Begin with one clear announcement. A product launch, company milestone, event or partnership needs a specific reason for readers to pay attention. Explain what happened, who is involved, when it takes place and why it matters to readers in Korea.
A useful first inquiry includes:
- A draft release or a concise brief with the key facts.
- The company’s official name, website and relevant product names.
- Dates, figures and quotes that your company has checked and approved.
- An image you are able to supply for publication, with a clear caption.
- Your preferred publication date and a contact person for questions.
If the announcement is time-sensitive, make that clear at the start. Sharing source materials together helps the provider identify missing information before copy preparation begins.
2. Review the Korean copy
An English source draft gives the writer a starting point. Ask how it will be prepared for Korean readers, what editing is included and when you will be able to check the facts. Use the review to confirm company names, product descriptions, dates, quotations and any important qualifications.
Keep the announcement focused. A clear headline, a short supporting introduction and a factual body are more useful than repeating promotional claims. Explain unfamiliar terms and distinguish confirmed information from plans or expectations.
3. Compare the actual outlet scope
Package names alone do not explain where a release may appear. Ask for the proposed outlet names and the publication scope for your topic. Review the outlets against the purpose of your announcement, rather than assuming a higher package price guarantees a particular result.
Korea PR Desk currently offers two packages:
| Package | Price | Outlet focus |
|---|---|---|
| Deluxe | $200 USD | Recognized domestic news outlets |
| Premium | $350 USD | Major-tier domestic news outlets |
Both packages list one Korean article, up to 1,500 words, one image and no anchor links. Actual outlet names, eligibility and placement scope are confirmed after reviewing your content. Compare the current package details before choosing.
Distribution does not automatically guarantee independent journalist coverage, inclusion on a news portal, search indexing, rankings or visitor numbers. Ask the provider to explain exactly what the agreed service covers.
4. Agree on the final copy and timing
Confirm which version of the release will be submitted, who gives final approval and when all materials must be ready. If you need a release to coincide with an event or launch, discuss that requirement before payment.
Korea PR Desk lists a three-day delivery time for these packages, subject to content readiness, final approval and outlet review. Confirm the starting point and a feasible schedule for your announcement; a listed delivery period should not be treated as an unconditional publication deadline.
5. Review the publication results
Ask how publication links and the results report will be shared. When you receive them, check the company name, headline, key facts, image and live article URLs. Keep a copy of the agreed scope alongside the report so you can review the delivery clearly.
A live article on an outlet’s website and that article appearing in a portal or search engine are separate outcomes. Treat them separately when reviewing the results, and ask about any differences between the agreed scope and the delivered report.
To begin, send your draft, preferred outlets and timing. Korea PR Desk can review the topic with you before you select a package.
